National Weather Association News The 2016 Annual NWA Conference was held in Norfolk, Virgina from September 10-15, 2016. This year's conference featured several excellent presentations from across the meteorological community. In addition, a few members of our Local AMS chapter presented both poster and oral presentations seen below. Fred Glass, Local AMS Vice-President, presented both a poster and gave an oral presentation titled "Meteorological and Hydrometeorological Conditions Associated with the December 2015 Historical Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Event in Missouri and Illinois"(Fred Glass and Jim Sieveking NOAA/NWS St.Louis).
