The KMA KEIC Webpage
The main KMA web page is in Korean. Just clicking on the many tabs will provied informative information.
This page is found at

If one clicks on the circled item you are led to the page
Earthquake Data Page
http://www.kma.go.kr/neis/neis_01_02_01.jsp
This page has links to earthquake location and waveforms. There are three tabs at the top. Two are circled.
The one on the left is the default, the current page, and leads to local earthquake information. If one clicks on the tab to the right, you will be led to a page with teleseism informations.
In order to see the teleseism data, one must click on the pull down menu with the year.
At present to see any more one MUST NOT click on 2007, but on any other year, and then clock on 2007. This is
a fine detail in their web programming.
Earthquake Local Earthquake Waveform Page
This web page presents the earthquake location and provides links to the data in miniSEED. Some notes:
- Column 1: Event data and origin time. NOTE THESE ARE IN KOREA TIME WHICH IS UT + 9 HOURS!
- Column 2: Local magnitude which is close to Mw
- Column 3: Event latitude
- Column 4: Event longitude
- Column 5: Event geographical information, sometimes giving distance to enarest town
- Column 6: A file archive marker indicates that a ZIP or tar file is available with all velocity sensor (both STS-2 and SS1) traces in miniSEED
- Column 7: A file archive marker indicates that a ZIP or tar file is available with all acceleromater sensor (episensor) traces in miniSEED
If you click on any of the miniSEED files, it will be downloaded. The file name often has the data-time group in UT and can either be a ZIP or a tar file. Unpack according to the file name.
Earthquake Local Earthquake Waveform Page
If you had click on the Teleseism tab, then pull down the year menu, and then click on a year other than 2007, you will see a teleseism listing. If you then click on 2007 you will get the 2007 menu.
Of interest here is the fact that accelerometer traces are available for some of the teleseisms. Since the KMA accelerometers are set at 0.5g, they are in fact sensitive seismographs and thus provide unique data about teleseisms.

KMA Instrumentation
the web page and its tabs provide information on the sensors used.

Network information
By clicking on other pages, you will get information on the seismic network. Of interest are an OBS just installed just south of the island station ULL
