Geophysics graduate student Yan Xu greets the kids at the "Hive Station" in the scavenger hunt portion of Earthquake Awareness Day. This year's theme was to "Bee Prepared". Kids participated in the "Knowledge Hunt" game and had to stop at each station and ask a question about earthquakes. Yan fields the question "What Causes Earthquakes?".
