Academic History

Research

I am willing to supervise graduate students in the following areas:

  1. GGP - Global Geodynamics Project - time variations of gravity

  2. Global Earth dynamics, including Earth rotation and normal modes

  3. Structure and dynamics of the liquid core

  4. Structure and dynamics of the inner core

Although I am no longer publishing in the following areas, I maintain a continuing interest in Applied geophysics and Magnetic field reversals

I have several computer programs for geophysics, e.g. PLOTP for tidal processing and display, and several programs written for an applied geophysics lab, e.g. RAYAMP for 2-D refraction profiling. These were developed for MS-DOS and have now been converted to Windows.
