Miramare Castle, built by Archduke Maximillian shortly before he was murdered
in Mexico, where he had gone to be Emporer. The castle lies just a few hundred
meters up the coast from the site of workshops on seismic wave propagation
sponsored by the International Center for Theoretical Physics.
