All manuscripts, that are not part of a Special Topical issue, should be submitted to the Regular Issues Editor-in-Chief. Hard copy submissions should be addressed to

Submission of a manuscript implies
Electronic submissions are encouraged. To do so attach a Word version of your paper to an email message to mitchbj@eas.slu.edu. Include the word "pageoph" (without quotes) in the subject line of your message. If your attachment does not transmit all characters correctly I will ask you to resend in pdf format. Please follow the directions below for the formatting, etc. of your submission.
For hard copy submission, authors should submit three copies of their manuscript, all of which should be formatted with double spacing and wide margins. Copies of the figures should be attached at the end of the manuscript. All manuscript pages, including references, tables, and captions, should be numbered consecutively, starting with the title page as page one.
The parts of the manuscript should be in the following order:
This page should include the title, author's name(s) and affiliation, and complete postal address. In addition, corresponding authors must provide their email address and fax number.
If the title is longer than 60 key strokes (characters and spaces), a short title for the page headings should be given.
2. Text
There should be a one-to-one correspondence between citations in the text and items in the reference list. The approximate position of each figure should be indicated in the text. Metric units should be used throughout the text, as well as in all figures and tables.
3. References
References should be listed in alphabetical order in the following style:
Whole book: Bath, M., Introduction to Seismology (Birkhauser, Basel 1973).
Article in a book: Haurwitz, B., and Cowley, A.D., Barometric oscillations, In Introduction to Seismology (ed. Bath. M.) (Birkhauser, Basel 1973) pp. 193-222.
Tables must be presented on separate pages, with a brief title for each.
5. Figure captions
These should be listed on a separate page or pages and should be placed just in front of the figures.
6. Figures
Make sure that line thickness and lettering allow an adequate size reduction. All prints must be of high quality with sufficient contrast to to be easily readable. Color prints are permitted but authors will be charged for them.
