To produce a list of possible articles searches can be done in any of
four ways:
By Author:
Enter any (but only one) author's last name (e.g. Smith). You can also enter an optional
first initial (e.g. Smith A or Smith, A.). The wild card characters ? and *
can be used where ? substitutes for a single character (e.g. sm?th) and
* substitutes for a string of characters (e.g. sm* or s*h).
By Word String in Title:
Enter the chosen word string using full
words or a partial word with * or ?:
(e.g. "a geophysical study" or "a geophy* st?dy"). If you use more than one word, be sure that all words are adjacent in the title you are searching.
By Volume and Issue
This search is useful for listing the articles in a special topical issue. To
learn the name and issue number for a specific special issue consult the
list of special issues.
By Year Range
Select one of the the available ranges. This selection is normally done in addition to one of the other three search options.
Notes:
1. The searches are insensitive to upper/lower case.
2. In a sequence of spaces, only the first is recognized -- the others
are ignored.
3. Periods and commas are interpreted as spaces.
4. Empty boxes mean that no articles will be omitted based upon the criterion
of that box. Thus, if all boxes are empty, you will receive a
list of all articles published for the range of years that you specified.
