A small earthquake occurred in Southern Pemiscot Co. in the Missouri Bootheel early this morning. The earthquake was felt by local residents, but no damage was reported. It was also felt at Hayti and Steele, MO. (red spheres). Earthquake location is indicated by the red star. The location is based on data from the National Earthquake Information Center (NEIC) and the Center for Earthquake Information and Research (CERI), at the University of Memphis.
