A moderate earthquake occurred Sunday, May 1 at 07:37 AM CDT (12:37 UTC) approximately 4 miles southeast of Manila, Arkansas. The quake was felt in much of
northeast Arkansas, parts of southeast Missouri and the bootheel, southern
Illinois, western Kentucky, western Tennessee and northern Mississippi. There
were no reports of damage or injuries.
