Job description. "(My job involves) promoting source reduction, reuse of items and recycling processes as well as maintaining the Virtual Warehouse. The Virtual Warehouse is a web-based program to facilitate the reuse of city owned furniture, equipment, electronics and other surplus equipment. City departments use the Virtual Warehouse to post items or to obtain items for free before buying new ones."

What's the most interesting part of your job? "Helping people realize how much waste we generate and helping to change habits that pose a threat to the environment by promoting the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle!"


Any advice for current undergraduates? "Be enthusiastic to learn and ALWAYS ASK if you don't know something. There is no such thing as a stupid question!"
