What have you been doing in graduate school? "Every year for around a month I travel to the remote northern part of Saskatchewan to collect field data on a pristine river-dominated delta. The rest of my time is spent analyzing field data and using those field data to guide and verify numerical modeling experiments aimed at developing a new model for delta formation."

Any advice for current undergraduates? "If you want to go to graduate school, take as many English and math courses as you can stand!"
